Cuevas is a couple of miles inland from Vera and Desert Springs CC with lots of cave dwellings and shanty style properties.
30 mins drive further south than Lorca so no problem with the terramoto suffered there.
Much regeneration over the last few years and although the arid scenery is pretty enough to drive through not an area that appeals to me. But each to their own.
