Nr Gandia (5kms) – A RATHER SPECIAL PROPERTY featured on “A Place in the Sun” , with plenty of traditional charm and character. Recently reduced in price

A 2 bedroomed single storey townhouse (ground floor) situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac of 4 other Spanish owned properties (retired) in the historic centre of Palma de Gandia, where narrow winding streets and quaint passageways criss cross with small squares and parks. Just 5km from the city of Gandia and many of the Blue Flag beaches. Ideal for either retirement or a holiday home . An opportunity to buy a property that has been extensively renovated, in turn key condition, with excellent holiday rental potential.

The wide Valencian door has shuttered glass windows and decorated ironwork rejas and opens onto a spacious L shaped open plan living area with vaulted beamed ceilings. An attractive and unusual ceramic tiled floor is laid throughout. Near the doorway is a casual seating area with landline but could also double as a study area. The dining area has Moroccan wall lights and the second sitting area has a TV point, reverse air conditioning and a fireplace ready for a pellet or woodburning stove.

Two bedrooms (one with ceiling fan)each with large wardrobes and cupboards and the modern bathroom is fully tiled with vanity unit, wc, bath and shower. The kitchen/diner has new kitchen units and appliances and opens onto the patio. Outside is a fully tiled outbuilding where there is storage space for gas bottles, garden furniture. etc. The sunny high walled private patio area has a southerly aspect and there are small shrubs and trees and was recently renovated with ceramic floor tiles and a traditional Arab zigggurat tiled dado. The area is large enough to have a hot-tub or small pool or a small conservatory/extra room built.

Palma de Gandia is a really friendly place to live with some English people already living here. Gandia Social Club also offers all sorts of things to do.

Now we have come to retirement we would like a larger property from which to run a business – if you have a property within the vicinity of Gandia (say 20 miles) we would be interested if you would like a smaller property.
