Hi i have recently been and got power of Attourny from Manchester {which my lawer said i had to do}and sent form to my lawyer, i asked at the consulate if that was all i need to do to give power for my lawyer to get my NIE and act on my behalf they said it gives her full powers now my lawyer is saying i must go over so she can have my original passport to get our NIE, this seems strange as she took copies when i was last over there and i e mailed her copies. i am begining to lose patience with her as since we took her on last August she has not found anything out such as start date of building and though she promised has not got a compleation date infact she has told us nothing. she said she would go to the complex and see how things were goingand if there were any problems i can not even get her to confirm what is happening We have signed the contract with builder which we showed her and at the time she says it is a normal contract and there is no problem but we can not get her to commit any thing in writingwe are overdue to send a stage payment which takes us to over 50% of the ammount we have to send this to the estate agent and not our lawyer which also seems strange if anyone has any tips for us please let us know as i am very tempted to give in. Yours Smurf 😳
