Has anybody out there had any dealings with Polarisworld? I am considering buying an apartment there having been impressed by their marketing.
I would appreciate any experiences you may have had or any info not widely available

A friend of mine put deposits down on 2 properties at Polaris world about 2 years ago and when he visited a few months ago not a single brick had been laid. He is now trying desperately to get his deposit back.

Could be as much as 10,000 apartments up there!!! Not a good place to put your money. Too big a budget on marketing, and not the actual building

I think 10,000 is an underestimate to be honest. More like 20,000 when you consider the Condada development. If I was going to buy on PW, I would look at the resale market. La Torre is staggering towards some form of completion this year and lots of people bought with the intention of “flipping” before final completion. Problem is that nobody is buying and there may be some bargains to be had. At least with an off plan resale coming towards completion you can at least get some idea of what you are buying.
I have heard some stories of PW changing specifications and sizes as well. However, PW do seem to be one of the better funded developers in Spain.
Fianlly, go and visit Murcia before buying and look at the sites. They are inland in a very dry and barron area, one of the reasons I decided not to buy there.

Thanks for that. Hope to look at the area next month. Now feeling a bit cautious though.

Some good information but a lot of people who have bought who seem to be aflicted with rose coloured spectacles.
If you want some further background as to why I decided not to invest in PW, then e-mail/pm
