Overpaid wealth tax

      I completed on my property 2 years ago and paid my wealth tax for the first time last year. A friend helped me complete the form 214 but having found this website I realise that I overpaid the Renta part. This was calculated @ 2% of the valor catastral instead of the 1.1%. When completing the form this year could I deduct the overpayment from this year’s payment or is it lost for ever? Great website.

      Sumdi mentioned this tax…I dunno anything about it…do you have to pay even if your not resident??…

      You have to fill a ‘liquidacion complementaria’ and submit it at ‘Hacienda’ with a copy of the wrong one and they’ll refund the money in 6 month + – by bank transfer
