There has been a lot of press coverage in the UK about the possibility of claiming back off-plan stage payments from the boom years. Some law firms are actively promoting a service to handle claims.

There are bound to be cases of people going to the expense of making a claim with no hope of getting money back, throwing good money after bad. So it’s important to only use a ‘no win no fee’ service and make sure there are no hidden costs in the small print.
