    The serious economic situation of local and regional government in Spain is increasing. This article illustrates the comical nature of some measures town halls are taking to try and function in these ever worsening times.

    In Alicante the Pharmacists have had enough. They are owed so much money by the regional health authority they are going to charge patients 100% of the costs of medicines. Their own financial positions are at risk and say they have no choice.
