Casa Limon is a lovely house in the Spanish hill village of Periana; surprisingly spacious, with an interesting layout. It is over 150 years old, and has immense character, especially as the previous and current owners have taken great care with the renovation and upkeep, beautiful details, such as Morrocan tiles. It is composed of 2 buildings, the main house and a smaller house at the back, origonally the mule shed. The main house has 2 lounge/reception areas, a large kitchen, an office, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms; the mule shed has a bedroom upstairs and downstairs and a pretty tiled bathroom; there is also a further bedroom with ensuite bathroom which is an annexe off the patio. Not only that, there are also 3 patio areas, one large ground floor patio, with a covered area for outdoors dining, as well as a bbq and pizza oven; a 2nd floor terrace, and a roof terrace with stunning mountain views and perfect for watching the sunset over the mountains.
Periana is a pretty and very friendly village, which is ideally situated for easy access to both the beaches of the Costa del Sol and the stunning countryside and mountains. It is close and has views of Lake Vinuela, a short drive away. It has all the amenities you need including several friendly bars & restaurants, shops, banks etc plus a weekly market and an open air swimming pool for the summer months. There are several fiestas throughout the year. There is also a large village school for families with children looking to relocate. At a distance of only 40 mins drive from Malaga it is also handy for the airport.
I have owned the house for nearly 10 years, originally running as a B&B, before coming back to UK. It has since been rented through the summer for holidays and provided a good income. It would be ideal for a family house, or a for someone looking to run a holiday business in Spain. It is good to go, I am willing to sell the house fully furnished, yet still has tremendous potential to adapt and improve. It would be possible to build a small swimming pool in the lower ground floor terrace. There is also a small property adjacent to the patio, which is empty and would be possible to knock through to extend the house.
Sale price 195,000 Euros. Also available for longterm rent.
