ARE YOU A BRIT WITH A STORY TO TELL ABOUT SPAIN?

A NEW DOCUMENTARY SERIES WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU!

CHASING THE DREAM: Are you a British family or couple who are about to make the big move to Spain? If you are ‘upping sticks’ in the next couple of months, or have recently moved over to Spain, then we would love to hear from you.

STARTING A NEW BUSINESS: Are you embarking on the ultimate challenge, putting it all on the line to be your own boss? If you’re starting a new venture in Spain- or have launched one in the last year or so we’d love to hear all about it.

MORE THAN YOU BARGAINED FOR: Have you found that Spain was not what you expected? If you are fighting to stay where you are, or are considering leaving Spain behind then please get in touch.

If any of the above sounds like you or someone you know, then please send an email telling us a bit about yourself to: coastofdreams@studiolambert.com.

Alternatively call us on 0207 534 2016 and we will call you back.
(Calls from the UK charged at standard rates on BT landlines – calls from mobile networks and overseas phone providers may be considerably more).

I wish the EU were just as interested.

as one of many who have well and truly swindled, i welcome anything that raises awareness of the dreadful situation many of us find ourselves in.

I think you would get a far better response though if you gave some indication that you would be helping our cause and not just reporting it for whatever reason?

we don’t need any attempts at a ‘ balanced view’, we just need the horrible truth, which i think in most cases is very one sided. Naming and shaming, warts and all!!

I think these programs are more directed to the viewers based in the UK with one eye on entertainment and the other on somehow persuading the viewer to stay put in theirown country (and watch more TV). The agenda of these shows might be of use to us but is more likely to simply be anti-Spanish.
In the end, we need to find our own champions and not rely on the British media to speak for us – because it won’t.

yes, i quite agree. Such a shame though. With a bit more consideration for those who have been wronged, they could do much to help and give themselves a lot more credability. I’m sure they would quote legal reasons for not being able to help (even if they wanted to?), but we all know that much that has happened is fact, so should be safe to report?

We need something like a hard hitting panorama special, with teeth!

I always admired Roger Cook and the ‘The Cook Report’.

Cook, in an interview, said last year he was interested in John Palmer, Britain’s richest criminal, who went to prison for eight years for cheating around 17,000 victims in a major timeshare scam. He said he would like to do another report on him but he can’t as Palmer now faces further investigation by Spanish police. At least the interest is there so maybe Cook would be a good one to contact.

I could give him the name of a developer he could start with….and a few judges.
