With Malaga on red alert yet again due to heavy rain and flooding, for the 3rd or 4th time this Autumn and since the devastating fires, plus it seems every Autumn/Winter these heavy rains, is if time for the Costa del Sol to be renamed Costa De La LLuvia? 😉

So often it’s main selling point appears to be the sunny weather, but it now appears to get just as much heavy rain and floods as anywhere else in Europe, not quite the idyllic Winter sun spot portrayed by many.

oh Angie, you really are an unhappy soul 😥 😥 😥 ; always looking for a negative slant on the Spanish Costas!! – today has been sunny and most of the chiringuitos on the promenade were busy as well!!! ….. the beaches in front of the Puente Romano and Marbella club hotel actually had small crowds of people swimming!!! ……

Never mind UBEDA you lover of constantly bigging up Spain, you’ll get over it, but spare a thought for those in Malaga province who’ve been flooded more than once this year on the Coast of Rain, has your master told you to post again? 😆 😆 😆

Come out from behind your name UBEDA if you dare 😆

You’re the one who once said you didn’t want to live amongst the Spanish, remember? 😆

Nutters then 😆 😆 95KMH winds at the weekend, and so I am told the beaches are full of cane and rubbish once again. Plenty of vews on ytube!

Hey Ubeda, did you remember meeting me early this year (you see when I visit the CDS I make sure I look up a few of the bluffers) because I remember you, you talked a load of cojones then? 😆 😆 😆

BTW UBEDA, when you transferred your house and your commercial building from a personnel name to a Spanish Company, was that for tax reasons? 😆 😆 😆 Only asking of course 😆

Grow up Mark Nessfield, why was the Costa del Sol named the Costa del Crime, who thought of that wum? With so much rain it was a tongue in cheek post but maybe should have gone on the ‘weekend humour topic’ 😆 As for the other posts on this topic, those who dish it out should expect some flak back as you do 🙄

It used to be called the costa del viento before the tourist hype. Most costas didn’t have a fancy name until the developers moved in! eg. costa de la luz, costa tropical 🙄

Nice to see you back katy, expect you’ve been somewhere warm.

As you can see there were a few ‘warm’ if not ‘hot’ exchanges on here which you would have enjoyed, in this case a humorous
quip that some poor soul tried to make more of with a stir of his spoon to garner support 😆

However, as you say the Costas have been renamed anyway, but for a while it was definitely looking like the Coast of Rain 😉
