    Based on INE figures so wildly inaccurate. Still worth a look to see the regional variations.

    The idea that prices have dropped more in The Balearics than Castellón province is just laughable.

    Never seen such a load of rubbish ! I think they got the figures around the wrong way , more like 51,9% in Murcia.

    There’s no reliable way to measure price declines – or increases for that matter – in Spain. The official statistics (depending on what you count as “official”) come from a variety of sources, some of them ridiculous such as sellers’ asking prices. Speaking not of vacation/2nd homes but more generally in Spain I’d say in quality areas they’re down by about 20-25% and in others…30, 40, 50…you name it
