With great respect to King Juan Carlos being “surprised and worried” by the extent of building work –

…I wonder how “surprised and worried” he would be if he was standing in the shoes of thousands of purchasers like us who have laid out their life savings on properties, only to find their new home can’t be built due to suspended building licences, the developers won’t return our money, their breach of contract seems to mean nothing, the Bank Guarantee requires a fight etc.

If he wants to contribute anything to this mess that is going on his country, he should look at the dilemma that his government’s employees have created…..granting licences, and then suspending them.

“Surprised and worried” doesn’t even begin to describe what I feel…..
