The ex Mayor of Marbella, Julián Muñoz and the ex Municipal Real Estate Assessor, Juan Antonio Roca are both familiar names in Marbella’s ‘Malaya’ corruption scandal. It’s now beginning to look as if Sean Connery and his wife became caught up with this crowd re. their own property ambitions.

They are already implicated in another separate case (nicknamed ‘The Goldfinger’ case) regarding the sale of their villa Malibú and the subsequent construction of 32 luxury flats on the land. The ex Mayor of Marbella, Julián Muñoz, and three other ex town councillors were in court on Friday to give statements on that one.

But a new investigation by the judge in Marbella has resulted in a second case being brought against them of fiscal fraud worth 1.64 million € after the sale of some land by a company linked to the couple. It involves the ‘Colinas de Limonar’ development and the sale by the Montelagares S.A. company which is listed as the owner of two of the fincas where the tax fraud of 1.64 million € is suspected.

I wonder if he will be forced to return to Spain to face the music. Naughty James, what would Moneypenny say?

    Oh , James!!! I expect.

There is a joke going around , “How do you make a small fortune in Spain ,start with a big one”
James Bond may well find his fortune much smaller by the time the Spanish legal system has finished with him.
