I’m looking for a second home that would become my first home in Spain within a few years.

I’m flexible about the area of Spain, so please forgive the “vagueness” of the enquiry. It’s the property and criteria that are the more important to me. The region becomes a factor once the property characteristics are established. If you have a place to sell that fits the following criteria, please pm me the details.

    MUST HAVES

    Budget 100,000 – 200,000 euro.

Located within a 15 – 20 minute walk of “somewhere to swim outdoors”, be it an embalse, lake or sea.

    Minimum 2 bedrooms.

Condition of repair – at least “liveable in” with connections to power and water. I’m prepared to do some repair if necessary but I’m not looking for a total renovation job.

Proof of being a legal build.

    NICE TO HAVE

Outside space – somewhere to eat, relax.

Within walking distance of being able to obtain basic foodstuffs.

    MUST NOT BE

    An “urbanization”.

    A “Golf” complex.

    Any chance, anywhere?

I understand you didnt want an urbanization, as most are very large and busy however have a look at this as when we bought we didnt want an urbanization either but this ticked all our boxes and always very quiet around with the pools to yourselves 90% of the time.

I have a private apartment/bungalow for sale (just gone on market via sign board).

This property is 2 bed, downstairs, very large private garden, small community but large private communal area.

The property is just 2 years old (as new as only used for private us).

It comes fully furnished (high spec throughout).

It is on Las Vistas in Cabo Roig, 15 mins from Murcia airport, 40 mins from Alicante airport. 10 mins walk to sea (although views from garden) and main Caboi Roig strip, 1-2 mins walk to nearest shops, restaurants, supermarket etc.

Only reason for sale – migration

If you are interested let me have your email address and i will forward you some details and photos etc.

Check out Las Vistas on web, other 2 other properties for sale on development (my price much cheaper)

Hi, i think my villa meets your criteria………please call me if interested……

For sale or p/x, Inland country villa. Bargain! (Approx 1 hour northwest of Murcia)

This agents link contains photo’s of the Villa which includes an aerial view of the property and borders
    http://www.property-net-spain.com/property/166804-villa-molinicos-albacete

Reduced from 275k euros to 170k ono euros for a bargain sale. (I actually declined an offer of 250k euros during the time it was on at 275k!)
This Villa will once again be worth 275k euros and more when the property market fully recovers making it a very serious investment.
Will consider p/x for a cheaper spanish property or exchange for a UK property Southwest area.

Located in Fuente Higuera, Molinicos, in the beautiful mountainous ‘Castilla-la-Mancha’ region of spain it is 1 hour 45 minutes due west from Alicante airport and equi-distant from Murcia airport, we are 1000 metres above sea level and therefore benefit from cooler fresher non-humid mountain air.

    About Molinicos… http://www.spanishmountainproperty.com/village%20details%204.htm

The villa is in a very private and secluded but not isolated position, it is only a 10 minute walk into the hamlet of Fuente Higuera where there are two bread shops, a butchers and 3 bars or you can drive 10 minutes into Molinicos town where all the shops/ facilities are to be found, including a large communal swimming pool.

The 140m south facing villa is situated on a high elevation with wonderfull views all round, it has a 40m+ light and airy lounge with high vaulted ceilings, 2 bath (1 with full size bath and the other with shower cubicle) 2 double size bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, separate kitchen of 10m2, washing machine, gas hob, electric oven, large fridge/freezer. There is a roof terrace above the kitchen. Large integral garage (granny flat?) and stone carport.

Included are selected items of furniture.

Note…….The villa entrance is ground level with level, tiled flooring throughout (no steps) and would therefore suit wheelchair access, etc…

The villa was built 4 years ago and benefits from a 10 years guarantee (all paperwork in order) , full gas central heating, cast iron wood burner, mains electric, mains water, internet/telephone connected, 42″ Panasonic plasma + satellite system with 2.4m dish. It has over 13,000m of land of mostly pine trees with a gated entrance.

Included on the land is a separate stone built stable block of 3 x 4×3 stables with a corralled area in front, water and electric is connected to it. (possible extra accommodation)

I am currently using the stables as kennels, there is a small’ish english community spread about in the area and I am currently taking in dogs while their owners are away/holidaying….this provides a small income and could be expanded with little commitment.

All the paperwork is totally 100% complete and registered in my name, habitation cert, 10 guarantee cert, etc.

This villa cost me considerably more than the current sale price.

I would be willing to reserve the property for up to 6 months (or possibly longer) on payment of a deposit with a contract to buy.

There is no mortgage or debts on the villa.

For a detailed description of the area of Molinicos see…

Please call me on 0034 696723206 or (UK) 07773375408 or email for photo’s or more details

If you haven’t found anything yet, have a look at the 18th century inland village house on the direct sales section, meets all your criteria, including rivers and a lake for swimming.

Wasn’t talking about you Spanishwhite; I am surprised by all the responses by other forum members that have 3-4 posts. Never heard of any of them. Just seem to be waiting in the wings for anyone to ask about info about a propery.
It looked like Lady Gaga with her new dress trying to be a Lion Tamer!

Posted: Sat Aug 29, 2009 So, I’m not sure you’ll get a reply However, it’s still being advertised on Kyero so I guess still unsold

    http://www.kyero.com/property/1263315-country-house-for-sale-petrer

FWIW, My partner viewed this house ages ago, but I don’t know if she asked about it legal status

It’s an older house, so IME it’s likely to be at least somewhat legal, however many older homes are somewhat larger than officially declared

    Hi there!
I see you’ve had a lot of replies, but I hope you consider our house!!

It’s only 85 000 euros. We thought we’d price it low, for a quicker sale.
It’s a three bedroom house, with a patio and roof terrace (both small, but fine for eating outside or sunbathing) 10 mins from a large lake, where people swim, sail, etc.
It’s a village house, a genuine white washed andalucian village, definitely not an urbanisation! the village has a supermarket, bars, restaurants, and plenty of vans come round selling all sorts of stuff.
It’s in the province of Granada, 30 mins to the airport (Granada), 40 mins to the coast (Torre Del Mar).
Got lots of photos. Be pleased to show you pics of the house, village and surrounding area.

    Thanks
    Best wishes
    Zoe

You might be interested in my flat, which I have to vacate for family reasons unfortunately.

The flat is a 4-bedroom (one currently allocated to office use). It has just been completely renovated and has town-gas-fired, central heating, all bedrooms and sitting room air conditioned, all new electrics, induction plate cooking, two bathrooms, new plumbing, roof insulation etc. The roof insulation is because it’s on the TOP floor of a very well located (though not particularly beautiful) building in Tarragona, which is one of the nicer cities in Spain.

I looked for a Tarragona flat for about three years and eventually chose this one because:

    1) It is VERY well located – near to every conceivable shop and facility, and only a 20-minute walk to Tarragona beach (El Miracle !) and not any old walk – the walk takes you through medieval and then Roman Tarragona (Tarragona is said to have been the second city of the Roman Empire)
    2) It is on a quiet street – quiet is a rare commodity in some parts of Spain as you probably know already! And, because its the top floor (7th floor), there is no one marching around above your head.
    3) It’s south-south-west facing and so gets sun all day long. It has a small, but perfectly adequate, covered balcony to take the sun and have a cup of tea or whatever. Tarragona has a great climate – no doubt why the Romans made it their main base.
    4) The neighbours are pleasant and reasonable

I look forward to hearing from you at your convenience.
