I have some general questions to see if our plans for the near future are legally achievable. My partner and i fell in love with Mallorca and it is financially achievable to leave Belgium and start a B&B in Mallorca.
The only thing is, we don’t want to buy a property and were thinking of renting a villa with 3 bedrooms and 3 en-suite bathrooms. In this case we could rent out 2 bedrooms and keep one for us.
But, is it legally permitted to rent a villa to serve as a B&B, if we find an owner that is prepared to let it of course. If yes, what are the next important steps we need to take? Are there any licenses we need to apply for? What are the major things that could uphold this idea?

Hi, I have a large 5 to 6 bedroomed house, which I would be happy for you to rent and try out a B&B business. Its near Nerja on the Costa del Sol, Malaga Spain. here is a link to the property details. Its for rent or for sale. It has recently been renovated, new double glazing, bathrooms and painted throughout. It is very close to the main plaza in Torrox whitewashed moors village and popular with tourists of all nationalities. A lot of which are residents also.
