We purchased this off plan property in 2003 and it is now close to complete in August 2007.

We are now looking at a much larger detached property and we would like to sell this apartment.

The property is located in Arenal Sur gated development. The development has 4 phases and this apartment is in phase 1. The development is 30 minutes from Marballa, 20 minutes from Gibraltar and within walking distance to Port of Duquesa (Manilva) and the Marina. This is one of the best Marinas on Costa del Sol and particularly good if you own a boat.

The apartment is a 2 bed, 2 bath Second floor, west/southwest-facing apartment in this gated development with allocated secured parking; lock up storage room. There is also communal pools and gardens. This apartment is in phase 1 of the development, which is closest to the beach. This property has fully fitted hot and cold air-conditioning, double-glazing, marble floors, fully fitted kitchen with all appliances. The apartment has 85 sqm (850 sq ft) internal and 14.5 sqm (145 sq ft) terrace. The developer is marketing similar properties for over 280,000 euros, however we are looking to sell for the best offer we can get. This is a very good buy for anyone looking to buy in Costa del Sol and near to a nice Marina.

If you are interested, just contact me via this forum and I can send you more information including photos and plans. If you are then interested, just make us an offer, because we are very keen to sell this and move on to the new place . 🙂

    Hi David,

If you don’t mind me asking how did you sell in the end? What were your difficulties and did you use an agent ?

I’d appreciate any advice you could give me. Thank you

    Hello Lavinia,

The developer was in fact late with the development and there was a clause for cancellation and refund. The developer was also due to pay interest on the deposit and a penalty. Considering the refund and interest and all associated things, I ended up going back to the developer’s agent who sold it to another buyer.

    David.
