Fotocasa property portal asking price index -3.4pc in November

Fotocasa, one of Spain’s big property portals, publishes a monthly asking price index based on the properties advertised for sale in its database. The following table summarises average asking price changes per region in November, with a national average of 2,276 €/m2, 3.4pc lower than November last year.

The final column on the right gives the regional average asking price as a percentage of the national average. Asking prices in The Basque Country are 64.2pc higher than the national average, whilst asking prices in Extremadura are 30.5pc lower.
