Now is definitely the time to buy. While it remains very difficult to get a mortgage and the supply of buyers from the UK has dried up due to the exchange rate the confidence in the market is low. This in turn leads to a fall in the price of property.
Cash buyers are in a fantastic position to pick up some fabulous properties at very low prices. Having said that there is not a glut of cheap properties hanging around. To be able to pick up a bargain you still have to be in the right place at the right time.
If you are looking for a bulk standard 2 bedroom apartment with no views you may be lucky however if you are searching for your dream home then you will have to make a few compomises in order to find the right place at the right price.
